The weave of the mesh is large enough for easy insertion of S-hooks and our S-hook Clips (see Mesh Panel Accessories) so you can hang even un-backed, un-mounted paper in seconds. Who Uses Mesh Panels?

Mesh Panels are a wonderful aid to classroom teachers. Hanging your student's artwork, both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional, is simple and neat. With the Mesh Panel system artwork needs no mounting of any kind, nor is artwork damaged by pushpins or tape.

Mesh Panels are light-weight and can easily be moved – without disassembly – within the classroom or to other locations throughout the school.

The real bonus is that Mesh Panels pack up very compactly which makes it a breeze to gather and transport Panels from individual schools to central locations for larger, district-wide exhibitions.

Mesh Panels are also used outside the art classroom. They are eminently suited for all sorts of displays in the elementary level classroom as well as in libraries and science and social studies classrooms.

The Nitty-Gritty

Mesh Panel frames are made of galvanized steel tubing and corner joints. Unlike aluminum these steel frames are built to take the kind of wear (and abuse) that can confront them in the school setting. The poles and corners are joined with click-together snap-buttons.

The feet are made of low profile steel plates with rubber pads that ensure that your floors will not be marred or scratched. Only 3/16” thick, the feet extend only 10” from the wall frame so there is little concern that children may trip on them while viewing the artwork.

The mesh itself is ingeniously woven for strength and long life. Holes in the mesh are large enough to easily insert an S-hook and our Hook-clips, making hanging artwork a snap.

Mesh Panels are flame-resistant and meet both national fire codes and the sometimes more stringent codes enforced by certain states and cities. An official certificate of flame-resistance accompanies every Mesh Panel.

Standard Freestanding Mesh Panels are 7-ft tall. We also offer them 8-ft tall.
